Since I come back, I had to modify this message, I don't really like Disney now...

One of my favorites is Treasure Planet.  I really don't remember what people work on films, but it was a pretty good movie.

Gotta go with Fantasia.  It was the very first movie I ever saw (I think I was five), and it helped me develop a love and appreciation for music.  The next movie I saw was a Disney double-feature of Peter and the Wolf, followed by Robin Hood.  (Of course, Star Wars came after that.  images/icones/icon10.gif

I liked Tarzan.

Unfortuanatly I can't congratulate individual artists and film makers as I don't follow that  :/

But I did enjoy it.

The Lion King is a great film. I went and saw the Broadway version of it, very good, I cried.  (such a dork   ) I think any who appreciate the animated version will like the stage version, too.

Crikeys! I saw Treasure Planet for the first time the other night, thinking I had already seen it and didn't care for it!

WHAT AN IDIOT!

I saw it properly the other night, and was WAY impressed with the animation!!! Especially the Doctor, for some reason. I just thought he was animated brilliantly!

As for my favourite films though, I will go with Corpse Bride, The Incredibles and Beauty and the Beast! How's that for 3 genres of animation?! Heheh. not bad!

P.S. Old mate Glen Keane animated John Silver in Treasure planet!

If you don't like it, bugger off.

True, Glen Keane is a true genius in animation! Along with Andreas Deja and Ruben A. Aquino!

Ok, I get paid this thursday and I want to get a movie. What movie should I get Monster House or Over The Hedge? They both look funny so I don't know which one I should get. Also, I just looked up Glen Keane for more information on him and I found out that he'll be doing an upcoming Disney CGI of Rupunzel coming in 2009, that should be pretty cool.

Monster House. Period. It isn't full of over-used actors who arnt voice actors.

A man after my own heart! swoon. I was thinking the same thing as I was writing that post. Monster House just looked more appealing to me. I like when I watch CGI and it has all the human subtleties in expressions walking, eating, blinking, etc. Thank you for your suggestion, Lex.

There are different reasons to like each one.  Over the Hedge is always going to have a special place with me, because I enjoy the comic strip   , and the movie has that well-made, madcap "Mark Dindal" style to it.  Monster House was more of a work of art.  I think what I like most about this motion-capture approach is that you can see more of the actors' performance, their movements as well as their voices.  Well done.  Nice--it's almost time to drag out that copy of "The Polar Express" again...
