So, can anyone who saw it tell me if it's worth to see it in theaters?

I haven't seen it yet myself, but the scenes that I have seen diminish my curiosity, put frankly.  This seems to suffer from the same thing that "The Polar Express" suffered from at times--the characters seem devoid of emotion or expression in the clips I've seen.  If not for the voice, you couldn't tell what they were feeling.  Given the subject matter, it only makes things seem more freaky.  I may still see it, since I like a good myth yarn...

I agree. The animation style reminds me of Final Fantasy, The Spirits Within style. Not really impressive at all, but if you're an Angelina Jolie fan you'll flip over her "snake outfit"!

Now that I've seen it in full, despite an interesting scrïpt, it's a fanboy's wet dream at best.  I'll say this much, though, I'd recommend it to our staff, since I think we'd get some good design inspiration and production design ideas from it.

I've rented Beowulf about 3 times now, and never got to watching it each time...I'll try again, lol
