Here's a section to acknowledge those who have made advancements or contributions to the animation world, who are no longer with us.
                       

I start the ball rolling with this mention of Joseph Barbera, of Hanna-Barbera fame, who has passed away at the age of 95.  Partner William Hanna passed away in 2001.

Hey, haven't you forgot someone? Walt Disney! The first person who has dared to make an animated feature. He's dead since 1966        

Well, like I said, I'm just starting the ball rolling.    The hope is that more of you will acknowledge these icons of industry, like you just did!  Thanks!

James Brown died...so sad...

Uhhh *goorgle* the singer James Brown right???

  Uh, yeah, well coming back to animators for a moment, I must now add Iwao Takomoto's name to the list.  He was a Disney and Hanna-Barbera veteran who was credited with creating "Scooby-Doo".      

Lot of Hanna-Barbera folks passing away suddenly, aren't there?

What can I say...they knew to much....

lol, well, they were quite old.
